Universities in Würzburg

With its long history, Würzburg is a typical example of a European city of culture. The city has been exchanging goods, art, and knowledge with other cities for many centuries. The universities are a product of this exchange and are still attracting young people today.  The universities are excellently integrated into the city. This provides many internship placements and increases job chances for university graduates.

Julius-Maximilians-University
Almost every subject can be studied at the University of Würzburg. It is a doctorate-granting, research university divided into ten faculties. The University has distinguished itself as a global educational landscape. New degree programs are added to this landscape every semester. And not simply because subjects are becoming more defined. The University strives to add cutting-edge study programs that are not yet available at many universities. If you don’t find the degree program you’re looking for, you’ll most likely find something similar. Aerospace engineering, for example, is not offered as a degree program. But you can also send satellites into space with the Robotics program. The University of Würzburg together with the School of Medicine and the University Hospital is the largest employer in the city.
