The Treasury of the Cathedral of Würzburg (Domschatz)

Directly within the Cathedral of St. Kilian 1000 years of history of the cathedral will come alive in the Cathedral Treasury: beginning with the shrine, the cathedral’s inventory of relics, via the cathedral liturgy to the bishops and the cathedral chapter, various aspects of the cathedral are on display and explained. The two door-puller lions dating from around 1040 and the golden Greiffenklau monstrance from 1710 are particularly outstanding.
