Residenz Run Würzburg
The Residence Palace is the breath-taking backdrop for this running event that is suitable for any age group from beginner to advanced. Due to the run, the streets around the Residence Palace will be closed. The bus bay at the Residence Palace is inaccessible and the Franconia Fountain on the Residence Square is not available as meeting point.

Würzburg runs! The course of the marathon (42 km) and the half-marathon (21 km) follows the river then through the town. The Old Town is accessible solely by foot due to road blockings. Unfortunately, guided tours are possible only with restrictions.

More than 400 artists from all over the globe enchant downtown Würzburg. This unique cultural happening is the largest stage-free festival in Europe. Performances take place on 22 public squares.
