Corona information for our guests
Following rules & regulations are currently valid for guided group tours (up-to-date-information of february 10th):

· „2G-rule“ which means you must be vacchinated or recovered to be able to participate in the guided tour
· Distance rule: A minimum distance between two persons of different households of 1,5 m must be maintained.
· The maximum group size is reduced to 20 persons (guide excluded)
· It is compulsory to cover your nose and mouth with a FFP2-mask during the guided tour.
· All tours take place completely outside (no inside visits)

We ask for your understanding that we cannot offer all guided tours as usual due the the corona regulations.


General note for your arrival
Please allow enough time for your journey since traffic disturbances may appear due to construction sites on the highways and in the city streets.

 A popular running event around the Residence Palace which is among the biggest mass sports events in Lower Franconia. Runners of all ages, childrens, studentds and top athletes from around the world run here. The Franconia fountain is not accessible as meeting point for guided tours and the bus bay at the Balthasar-Neumann-Promenade cannot be reached by bus.

iWelt Marathon Würzburg (city marathon)

Thousands of runners are expected at the iWelt-Marathon. The run follows a two-round course along the Main and through the city passing by many sights. There will be restrictions like spacious road blockings and a rush of visitors within the whole city center.

Open Air Concert at the Residenzplatz

There may be restrictions at the Residenzplatz due to an open air concert on this day. The Franconia fountain is not accessible as meeting point for guided tours. The bus bay at the Balthasar-Neumann-Promenade cannot be reached by bus.

More than 400 artists from all over the globe enchant downtown Würzburg. This unique cultural happening is the largest stage-free festival in Europe. Performances take place on 22 public squares. Please note that there may be restrictions during a guided tour, such as loud music and a rush of visitors.
